I woke up excited for Friday. Soon, I remembered what all I had forgotten. LOL. I forgot to get my items organized for the homeless people who are living in a park in Lawton. :( That left me running super late this morning to school (what's new?) So I take Maddux to school with me knowing one of the wonderful ladies in the office (my mom, TT, or Sabrina) would be happy to take him and all the other office ladies could get their daily dose of loving in with Maddux. I had a horrible migraine all morning, but managed to get rid of it before the day was up. I had an eye appointment with a new optometrist since my previous doctor retired. All went well and no changes in my vision. Of course I ordered a new pair of glasses because that's just what happens when Patti Neighbors and I get together. :) They are super cute, but won't be getting them until late next week since I'm being half way responsible and waiting until pay day. We ended the night watching the Elgin Lady Owls whoop up on the Elk City Elks. The girls played fantastic. Hunter also announced two different times about the Smart Boards for his school (in case you haven't gotten that memo, you should go to www.refresheverything.com and vote for Elgin Elementary in the Education $50k category or text your vote to 73774 and put in the message 103693. You can do this daily until the end of the month. We are at #15 and need to move to #10 or better to get the money. I digress.) We only made it through half of the boys game because Maddux bedtime was way overdue.
I started this blog on Friday evening, but managed to just now get back around to it (Sunday night at 11:19 p.m.) So I will just finish off the weekend for you.

Saturday - We had little league basketball again. They play in what is now the middle school gym, which was the gym I played in all through middle and high school. What wonderful memories just sitting in there. Many think it's quite odd, but I even love the smell inside of that gym. LOL. Anyhow, Hunt's team won both games again this week, however the first one was super close. Hunter played all 45 minutes total (both games the entire time) and was pooped when it was over, but not quite pooped enough to stay home and relax.
Aaron and Hunter met one of Hunt's friends, Jaxson, and his dad at the baseball field to play catch and hit some. They got back just in time to shower and head to the high school bball game versus Cache. Hunter did his announcing again. Unfortunately, both our teams got beat pretty bad.:(
Today - we made it to church. Late to Sunday School. What's new? But we made it. That's what counts. After church, we made yummy chicken fry, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and cheese/garlic bread for lunch. It was delicious. Aaron had to go back to work around 3 this afternoon and Hunter rode in with him to meet Aaron's parents. He's spending the night there since he is lucky enough to NOT have school tomorrow. Maddux and I attended our first session of Financial Peace University at our church. It was great. I'm excited to see God move through our finances.
We go tomorrow for dad's radiation consult at 1 p.m. I will post more tomorrow evening. I left a few pics of Maddux at the end that are the cutest things ever just to make you all smile. :) I am so blessed. I hope all of you had a splendid weekend. I'm off to bed. Goodnight.
