Hoops

Bright and early, we were off to little league basketball. Hunter and his buddies played 2 games winning both by a lot, but most importantly Hunter played well and hustled like a champ which is of the most importance to mom! ;) Hunter had lots of fans including my parents, Aunt Terri, and Donna. He was super excited as always to see Mrs. D and Mr. O there.

After 3 full games, we went home for lunch and a nap before hitting up our 4th basketball game for the day at Cameron University. On the way to the game, the boys were in the backseat in their own world. Aaron noticed that Hunter was singing along loudly to his iPod he got for Christmas so Aaron turns down the car radio. We listen for a while, snickering to ourselves. Out of the blue, Maddux starts pointing at Hunter and laughs out loud at him. It was priceless. I am not sure that Hunter even knew what happened.

We watched our adopted daughter, Taylor, cheer at the womens basketball game at Cameron. Maddux had his fair share of basketball for a day and I was finished wrestling him so we left at the end of the womens game to go visit Papa and Nene (Aaron's parents).

On another note, "Cooney's" (Floyd Sanders) funeral was today. Hunter will miss his inquiries at church about his name and what it was BEFORE he got married. I will miss seeing him at football and basketball games as well as church. We will continue to pray for Margaret and all of the family. :( We can rest in the peace of knowing that he is celebrating with our Lord. ;)
