Dad is in Day 2 of Chemo/Radiation. Day 1 was normal and super fast. Today, he was scheduled to see Dr. Pontikes (the surgeon who found the cancer), but had to cancel due to nausea and diarrhea this morning. He took Imodium and continued on with the treatments. My mom took him on Monday and he drove himself today. Please be praying that he does not get the horrible stomach virus and flu that is going around in our area on top of the nausea he already has.
Mama Donna fell again yesterday when she was trying to hurry out of the car after a doctor's visit (she has the respiratory stuff that's going around.) She is okay, but she doesn't need anymore falls. As soon as I feel like our entire family is well from this flu mess, we will be making a visit over there. Begin praying now for that encounter. I'm not doing it for me, but for the boys.
My day back to work went without too many hitches, just a lot of things to catch up on. We have a deadline on Monday for yearbook, so it's back to the grind. UGH! I took some FFA pics for a student and friend today. We only had about 10 minutes to finish it, but I was pleased overall.(See Colten's pic)
Maddux stayed home with Aaron today. He will go back to the sitter tomorrow. He is still working on potty training and pull-ups. He did better yesterday than today, but it's all a learning process.
I caught Hunter on video today singing to his iPod. It was hilarious. I was having to really control myself to not laugh out loud on the video. He is highly embarrassed and has begged me not to post it anywhere. I'm keeping my word, but it was so funny. I also found him in the dryer just hanging out playing his DSi after school (avoiding the homework he was supposed to be doing.) That boy. He is something else. I love him to pieces.
