Julie

Shortly after learning of my Dad's colon cancer, we also learned that my sister-in-law, Julie (Aaron's brother's wife) has cervical and uterine cancer. She is asking for prayer. Please join with me? She goes in tomorrow for a full, radical hysterectomy. They did a biopsy yesterday. As soon as they receive the path report from the surgery tomorrow, they will be able to tell better as to where this all originated from (they do not know yet.) Please pray for her husband, Brian, who is a pediatric dentist and their three children. Today is Grace (middle child)'s birthday. Pray for a happy, exciting day for her (some joy before the pain you could say.) Julie's specific prayer requests are: "For joy amidst trial. For me to honor Him in all my interactions with these medical professionals, for wisdom on big decisions, for complete healing after all procedures and treatment, smooth surgery with no complications, for my children to get along, and learn something valuable through all of this as well, for my husband to lean fully on Christ and the body through this and for him to enjoy in the midst of it all as well."

I am certain (just as Julie and our family is) that God has a bigger plan. I continue to pray through this season in our lives called, "cancer" that God's love is revealed in all of us, shines through us, and teaches us all the many lessons we need to learn.
